My .02, if you want swaro and want to dial..save up for the X5. Doug at Cameraland has/had a demo X5 at a price that would make it a no brainer.

Seems that price point these demos is the same as the 3.5-15 nxs which weighs the same and has a history of being bombproof.

While the X5 doesn’t have the track record (which I agree with you on) the X5 has dialed perfectly for me and the glass is far superior to the NXS. I believe Ryan Avery is also a believer in the X5, who shoots much more and is more demanding than I.
