swarovski ats hd80 vs meopta s2 spotting scope ?

For those who have looked through both which did you prefer ? Do you get any more resolution at 60x from the swarovski ? Does the wide angle make any real world difference ? There is definitely a weight savings with the swarovski but it is 2mm smaller also. Price is not a criteria in choosing , only performance. An atx is more than my budget can digest so it's out.

I'm assuming you meant the STS model scope? The STX/ATX are the new model Swaro's and they aren't available in 80mm... Not trying to be a smart ass, just trying to help a brotha out!

The Meopta, due to its excellent performance and WA view right up to 60x.

Not in my experience.

Yes, IMO.
