FYI the STM model is a gem with Swarovski for those who want the ultimate lightweight, clearest spotter! It has a magnesium body that sheds close to 8 oz. I have the ATM 65 and will never sell! These are hard to find! Magnesium was too expensive for Swarovski to produce, so they only made for a couple years! My 65 mm weighs 42 oz!!!!!!!

Good looking optic! Are the 20-60 eyepieces still made for this spotter?
Yes they are but IMO the 25-50 is superior to the 20-60 especially on the 65mm scope.

I too have an STM 65 HD w/25-50. I may list it for sale sometime early next year. These are great little scopes. Hopefully the OP moves his soon.

Thanks! Just out of curiosity, why do you find the 25-50 superior? I have used a newer ATS 65 with 20-60 and really liked it.

Saskmudder, how do you feel this stm compares to the stx glass compared? I imagine this is a little lighter overall also? Do you have a actual weight on this?

Druss, I asked SaskM for the weight and he replied that the scope is 47.55oz with the eye caps on (no scope cover).

I have compared an STS 65 HD to an STX 65, feel free to PM if you would like my take...
