I know there are already a lot of reviews on this thing, but how is the resolution at 40x? If the atmospherics are good, can you resolve objects well? For example my STX85 has a little trouble and and can be difficult to focus at 60x. I hope the question is clear (pun intended).

I have only used it once at the range and was able to see the target well enough at 400 yards with heat waves.

I have an STX 95 and an ATC. I find myself grabbing the ATC much more often than the STX. It's just so light, compact and great glass that it meets my needs 75% of the time. I'm glad I have both.
