Unfortunately I can’t answer either of your questions. My bathroom scale isn’t trustworthy. At least that’s what I tell myself when I see some numbers I don’t like.

I never looked though the newer CL so can’t compare.

They are older, but if you google the model you can find a few detailed reviews.
