Good evening. I’m a new member and a long time reader thank you to all for lots of great info. This summer I was in the market for a new pair of binos after lots of testing and research I decided to purchase a pair of SLC 10x42. I bought them from the great guys at S&S archery. I was very happy with there quality they performed perfect on a early season elk hunt. I live in Maryland and most of my time is spent bow hunting here I have used these binos on probably 20 hunts this year with no problems at all they are always carried in a Alaskan guide series harness and they have absolutely never been dropped or damaged. This Saturday morning I was hunting and grabbed the binos to take a closer look at a few deer and could not get them to focus and then realized that the focus knob spins free and will not focus the image. Have any of you guys experienced this??? Talk about a bummer maybe it’s just a fluke failure but I didn’t expect this out of a product in this price range I guess I will be giving Swarovski a call tomorrow. Any advice would be great.

Thanks Ryan

Get ahold of Swaro directly, they'll take care of you. I have the same binos, never had a problem. Their customer service is amazing

let us know how they treat you .
I have had my SLCs for 25 ish years, only issues I ever had was having to replace the eyecups twice. both times Swarovski sent them within a few days ,free of charge. only took a phone call. hope they treat you as well as they have treated me.

It's very possible that Swaro will get you a loaner pair immediately and shipped overnight.

They are one of the best companies out there and they don't want your hunting season interrupted with product failure.

I upgraded to the el’s after owning the SLC’s for many years. No problem, but my buddy broke his when he left his on his bumper and drove off. They fell off his bumper at about 50 mph.
He recovered them thanks to a following motorist.
He called sworo. And they overnighted new ones to him as he was on his hunt out of state.
No charge to him and trusted him to return his when he returned home from his hunt.
Very few have problems but they go up and beyond to help.

While hunting a couple of years ago, I slipped and fell on my EL's and broke the adjustment knob. I called Swarovski and they asked if I could next day them to them. I did and had my repaired bino's back in my hand in two days.
My fault..... they covered me.

Swaro fan boy here!!!!!!!
