Swarovski Eyepiece in Vortex Gen1 85mm spotting scope?

Has any one ever compared a Swarovski 20-60 or 25-50 eyepiece in a Vortex Gen1 85mm spotting scope?

What differences did you find?

I’ve done it with a 65mm Gen 1 razor and a 65mm swaro. The swaro has more zoom, the difference on low power going back and forth was minimal from what I could tell. This was 10 years ago with an early model swaro too.

Was there any difference in the eyebox? That is, how forgiving was it in eye placement?

We didn’t really do much other than just swap them for a couple minutes while glassing on the mountain. I know the new swaro eye pieces are much more forgiving. The ATC I just sold had a super forgiving eye box. I also don’t wear glasses and have never stuggled with alignment issues when using spotters or binos. I used a 65mm Razor for a lot of years and had zero issues with the eyepiece. The swaro is defiantly better all around than the razor.
