Swarovski EL used prices

I found an older set (2001-2002) 8.5x42 EL’s on Facebook. The individual is asking $1,000 for them. Are the older EL’s worth less than a newer pair? What is a fair price?
If anyone has a pair of EL’s they are selling for a good price I’m also open to that.

That was a first generation of the EL and the glass was just so so.
At that price, I would personally pass. They would need to be about $800

What you’re looking for is the newer model called the field pro.

The latest gen EL is DOM of on, or after 2015, IIRC.
