I’m looking to purchase a pair of Swarovski EL 10X42 Binoculars and was wondering if anyone might know who has the best price (overall price, discount code, etc.). Thanks for the help!

If you have time deals can be had on Ebay and sites that have demos for sale. A buddy of mine got what you are after through a eurooptic demo for $1400.

There is a pair of Swarovski Habicht 10x40 W/GA binoculars on ebay, that would almost compete with the EL's. I expect the bid to end around $750. They lack the field flattening eyepieces, but center sharpness will probably be the same. Timeless porro prism design, with modern coatings.

I own a pair of the 8x30w's and they are light, sharp, and fit the hand great... Made the switch from Meostar 8x42s and am glad I did!

I recently had a great experience and price on the purchase of Swarovski binoculars from Alaska Guide Creations.

Another vote for Doug, very approachable and easy to get a hold of. Always my first stop when I’m shopping ANYTHING optics related. Your best bet is to call him, he will answer..

Optics classifieds, it's glass, it doesn't go bad or age much unless you break it. I've always bought my glass used if it's over the $1000 price point for camera gear or hunting optics. You can generally always sell it for what you bought it for if you get it used.

I generally have a distrust of eBay but if you fact check you can turn up some great deals.

Hmm I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a pair of 15x56's and found a decent deal. It sounds like I'd better call Doug first though :)
