Here are a couple of pictures at 70x and 253 yards away. I haven't done anything to the pics to touch them up but you can see one is brighter than the others. That was one I took with the manual setting on the RX100. I don't know much about the camera but I can see that I can really play with the settings brighten things. This scope looks good at 70x!

That's really cool. I would be interested in seeing some pics at longer ranges with your set up.

Looking good, did you get a remote control for your camera?

I'm just using it with the 2 second delay.

I'll get some longer distance pictures and post them here. I can take the same shots with the 65mm objective as well.

1000 Yard ATX Pics

Here are more pics at distance with both the 95 and 65mm objectives. I took most of the pictures with the camera on intelligent mode. The 65mm picture was darker than the actual view so I moved it to manual mode and brightened it a little. That's why it appears to be brighter than the 95mm picture. These were taken looking west about two hours after sunrise. The 65mm objective in full daylight is similar in brightness to the 95 until you get to full power. Even then, it's not too bad in comparative brightness.

9.5 Miles ATX Pics

Here we are at 9.5 miles. You can see some mirage developing. These were taken two hours after sunrise looking west. The second and third image were taken in manual mode where I brightened it a bit. None of these pics were modified after the picture was taken. You can see from some of the other 65mm pics taken in intelligent mode how the pictures look.

I'm using the Lensmate 49mm adapter kit and a 49-52mm step ring. The 52mm kit wouldn't allow me enough threads to properly seat the adapter to the eyepiece.

I tried the Swarovski adapter but it's way too much money, more time to setup right and just plain too much.

Im wondering if there is a way to use the APO adapter with the step ring? What method are you attaching the camera to the scope with? Maybe Im missing something.
