I purchased this new and have basically never used it. It may have been to the range 2-3 times. It is 100% perfect and includes box and paperwork. I am selling to fund another project. I am fairly new here but have been on snipershide forever and my ebay name is tlsmith22. Asking $15003671CBB4-FE6E-4D7E-8A86-5860AAE13DB4.jpeg6C47AAA4-4C01-4A2E-B9FF-138D2008B698.jpeg00E98628-0983-40BB-8D1D-ABED500FCB10.jpeg

Just a heads up to anyone else interested.. I essentially bought this scope just for the eyepiece. I already have an ATM 65 scope... so as soon I confirm I like the wide angle eyepiece I will have an Atm scope up for sale with the 20-60 zoom eyepiece. Hit me up if you're interested.

Could you give a review of the 25-50 vs the 20-60 after you have time to compare. I read where one guy said that the 25-50 was more distorted on the edges which surprised me. Everyone I had heard say anything has said that the 25-50 is a considerably better eye piece.

Thanks

Yours was HD wasn't it, CW? This was a fine offering but those little letters make a difference in price and performance! :)
Well, if it's a non-HD, that makes the difference! I hope I did not offend you F!

I've got the HD ATM, and it's been a joy to pack and glass with thus far.

Some feedback for anyone asking about the 25-50 and the 20-60... I also got a 80HD so I have compared the non-hd and HD

25-50 - It is a very nice eyepiece and I really like the field of view. My spotting scopes seem to spend their entire life at their lowest mag... so a 25 vs 20 is very nice for me. The 25x WA seems to have a more constant eye relief through the zoom range, so once i set the eye relief, I can typically leave it alone. That is not the case for me on the 20-60, eye relief shrinks as I zoom in. I have beautiful crisp images across the board with both eye pieces.

Quick summary - It's nice, but I don't think it's worth a big premium over the 20-60. I will keep using the 25-50, but wouldn't go out of my way to swap over, if I was already running the 20-60.

HD vs Non-HD: Both give excellent clarity, HD does control the chromatic abberation better. I set up scenarios just to look for the chromatic aberration and it is certainly there on the non-HD. However, for me, I think chromatic aberration is likely a non-issue for me hunting. I could be proven wrong on a snowy day, but my past experience with scopes says... its a non issue for spotting and scoring game. Similar to the eyepiece debate, I don't think the HD label warrants a huge premium, but that is just my two cents.

Now decision time for me... what to take hunting 65ATM of 80ATSHD and which lens!!! Also... anyone want a scope!?

the setup shown above (atm 65) and an ats 80mm hd spotter. Trying to decide what to keep and what to sell. The 20-60 eyepiece that I currently have is getting sent off to get cleaned and inspected by Swaro... so I will have that back in about 10 days. Feel free to shoot my an offer on any combination. Leaning toward keeping the 25-50 eyepiece, so I would have to think hard before selling that!
