Swaro spotter twistup eyepiece came off!

One of my boys twisted the cup up too far on my 20-60 eyepiece. I know I can send it in for repair, but still have hunting to do. I haven't fiddled with it much, but does anyone have experience fixing this?

I’ve had a similar issue with my slc eyecups, it’s not from twisting too hard but from constant use and getting them in/out of my bino harness I believe. I’ve gotten 2 new sets from swaro that do the same thing in fairly short order. Here recently I just said to hell with it and lightly scuffed up the eyecup itself and applied super glue. Neither has come off yet with a couple months of use but I’m sure it’s only temporary.

I had a rubber eyepiece tear on a spotter.
They sent me a replacement no questions asked. Free

When you twist it out, it starts to unthread. Twist it in until it's flush, then give it a snug twist to the right.

That keeps it from unthreading.
