I am selling a like new, mint condition, Suunto Traverse Black. I just keep searching for "that one watch" and am afraid the Garmin Fenix 5x is it. Unfortunately, I am unwilling to pay $600 for a watch that will be worth $400 next year and $200 the next. The search goes on. This functions perfectly with zero defects. Before anybody assumes I am a moron and didn't type what I meant to type, "no, it is not a Traverse Alpha". It is what I said it is. I need $225 shipped and insured at my expense. I will try to get a picture up tonight which will show nothing more than "proof of life".

I love my Fenix 5x. I'm not sure where you think you will find a watch or anything other than real estate that will not depreciate in value. This is especially true when talking about anything related to technology.

Anyway, good luck with the sale.

Gotta agree with the colonel. Absolutely love this Fenix 5x. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and get one. It’s really that slick.

I can't believe you got that impression from what I wrote. As a matter of fact, in re-reading my post, it appears to me that to even the the most obtuse reader, he would come to the conclusion that I have at least a minimal understanding of things, especially technology related, depreciating in value.

Agreed, hence my hesitation. I'm never in a hurry to buy anything. I can buy one one or two years from now and it will have depreciated 50% (give or take, just guessing based on history). It's the same reason I won't buy a brand new vehicle. And yes, in that scenario, I have an expectation it will depreciate, just like 99% of what we buy new.

Anyway, good luck with the sale.
Thank you much.
