looking to get a tbac ultra 7 suppressor but before I pull the trigger what other cans are similar in quality and performance. Looking to stay pretty light but it’s for a 300 prc. Open to suggestions.

I’m going to go against the popular opinion and say that TBAC’s are nice cans but I wouldn’t get one compared to what else is out there. Their cans are light but I think other brands sound better. Also their cb brake attachment system sucks because the taper is after the threads so it’s always getting stuck.

I’d look at the diligent defense, AB raptor, and silencerco scythe.

If you are set on the tbac, my favorite is the magnus

Scythe and DD Enticer STI IMO best the ultra 7 by a bit and at worst match it in sound performance. Weight and length is less for both.

Ultra 7 is a great can with a strong following but other companies have been experimenting and improving tech and getting a bit more performance in smaller packages.

I’ve got 4, cb and 1 dt and have never had the cb ones get stuck.

What do you mean “always getting stuck”?

The suppressor gets stuck on the cb mount?

(I'm a newb when it comes to cans, so excuse my ignorance)

Would anti-seive help?
Usually. I don't use the TBAC CB mounts, but I've been using Griffin taper mounts for many years, and they are similar. A little anti-seize on the threads and contact surface go a long way.
