Suppressors for .450 Bushmaster

Pretty sure I have posted this before, but have tried 3 different 45 cal cans. Jk armament, small, light, cheap, loud. Works ok on a AR as they are not all that quiet anyway. Anechoix 45l, decent weight, slightly larger than the jk, quieter than the jk, seems to be a decent can. Banish 46 gen 1, huge, heavy, quiet. Built like a tank, but works well if you can handle the weight. Lives on a 45-70 SBR now. Works great in that application.

Still looking for that perfect 45 cal can. Very few that are big enough and still 12 oz or less.

The Ramblin Man is 8.8 ounces without adaptor, I don’t have anything else to compare it to but the folks at the range like the sound. I’m running it on a Ruger American Ranch. Killed my first deer with it last week and I could hear the bullet hit the deer.

I have a Rugged Obsidian 45 on my Gen 1 Ruger American. The YHM R45 was brand new, at the time, and it was nearly impossible to find one in stock. I snagged the Obsidian, when I had the chance. I've been happy with it, on the 450 Bushmaster, but I still would like to try an R45. I have a pair of YHM R9s and an original Turbo, so I already have pretty good collection of their muzzle devices.

A couple of friends each have the Dead Air Primal. It's heavier than the Obsidian 45 and R45, but it's also more versatile with magnum cartridges. My buddy runs his Primal on a 338 Lapua. I'm not sure what other big bores you might have, but the Primal is a nice suppressor. It might be worth considering, if you plan to suppress something bigger than the .450 Bushmaster.

I have a Dead Air Primal. It works fantastic on my 16" 450BM. Used to get my bell rung everytime when shooting from a blind. Now I dont even notice it. I had to check zero last week after taking a hard fall. Shot 3 times with no ear pro. While loud, I had no ringing in my ears at all. Im sure others cans are great, but I'm very happy with this one.
