What’s best suppressors out now for long range hunting and occasional range time? I currently own several SilencerCo Omega 300’s and several Thunderbeast ultra 7 & 9.

My ultra7 does great with long range. Does yours not? Besides the shift of POI, it hasn’t affected accuracy one bit.

Thunderbeast is the best for precision in my opinion. I’m fond of the ultra 9. I have a Magnus and it’s awesome. I use it on 22 creed-300 win mag .

But now days there are a lot of great companies out there

Not at all!! I love the TB and also like the Omega 300. I recently bought a Scythe TI but have not mounted it on a rifle yet.

Liberty precision Mach L with there new brake at end could be interesting. The vent holes are definitely different. Anyone use yet?

Where are you looking to land on the weight/size vs sound mitigation scale? For hunting, especially with the .308ish size cartridges, my AB Raptor 6 with the reflex mount has been really good. For the magnums, I would definitely look at the Raptor 8 with the reflex mount. Honestly though, your TBAC U7 gets pretty close to maximizing that performance vs weight curve.

You can get similar or slightly better dB, better tone, and shorter OAL (but increased weight) with a Raptor, but I'm not aware of anything that will give you both better sound and lighter/ smaller than what you've got now.

Edit to add, I do not own a u7, nor have I shot one back to back on the same rifle as one of my raptors. I have shot next to guys using them and they are still very very good cans. This is my impression, not from anything approaching data or comprehensive comparison tests, but I would take a u7 over any of the hot new diligent defense, SiCo, Q, etc.
