Maybe the opposite, ATF is stepping up raids on 2A 3d-printed devices including homemade suppressors.

Apparently some of the raids were also for printed pistol braces that were direct copies of commercial braces but apparently ATF still considers them stocks.

So I don't see the winds changing towards favoring NFA declassification.

I've always thought this has to be the stupidest law on the books. The Hollywood image of a "silenced" gunshot is about as dumb as dumb gets. We have so many laws focused on personal protective gear, yet the government makes it difficult and expensive for shooters to protect their hearing. Just stupid.
