Suppressor for. 22 long rifle

Has anyone used the Scorpius 22? TBAC Summit data shows it as 5" long, 1.95 ounces, 118.73 SE dbA. 3d-printed, rated for .17 up to 5.7x28 and $470 dollars. Seems pretty legit...

Sparrow does the job if money matters. Having shot the sparrow and dead air mask can't hardly tell a difference. Wait until first of the year to avoid the tax stamp.

I don’t see a need to spend more than what the sparrow costs. That can is awesome. It’s user serviceable and has a monocore design which simplifies cleaning. I have it on a T1X .22 and it makes me smile every time I shoot it.

I'm playing with a US Gnat and a Midge.

So far only shot 22Lr. I need to thread my 17hmr and 22mag and will see how they do.

So far the smaller Midge, intended for pistols, is quieter than a pellet gun w/subsonic ammo.

next year I'm going to sbr the Lil Badger so the suppressor is even with the butt when folded up. Makes a killer backpack grouse rifle.

My wife shoots a Bergara 22, me a Tikka. We run Elite Iron. They have been making suppressors for a long time out of Montana. Our guns are James Bond quiet when shooting suppressed. It's insane. All you hear is the click of the trigger.

I'm sure others are the same, just wanted to share our experience. 22 suppressed is too much fun, especially on gophers.

I have an older Silencerco Spectre II that was free when I bought my first omega. It’s been a great can and has found a permanent home on my Ruger MKIV 22/45.

Originally it was on a 20” threaded 10/22 that I shot quite a bit. It was accurate and didn’t add much weight to the rifle.

It’s been on my 22/45 for a few years now and it is a handy solution for grouse.

I use a Dead Air mask hd. I use it on my t1x and 22/45. No other rimfire cans to compare to yet but I’m happy with it. My first round through it I would have thought I had a failure if I didn’t hear the target impact. Using CCI quiets

Does anyone with the Mask ever get a random shot that is louder than the rest? 99% of the time all you hear is a click on the shot. But every now and then one of the rounds will sound like a suppressed HV round. Just wondering if it's the can, or I'm actually getting a HV round in my subsonic rounds?

I have experienced that with my 22/45. Not with Quiet 22 but with some subsonic segmented HPs. I believe it was a higher charged load. Hasn’t happened since. That was a few hundred rounds ago.
