Suppressor for 16.5" 308

Plus 1 for thunder beast. I have a gen 1 ultra 7 which I have shot for thousands of rounds with no drama and great performance compared to other cans I have shot next to such as the scythe, harvester, and omega, and OCL polonium k. I know own a gen 2 ultra 9 which is absolutely amazing on a short barreled 308 and is a little lighter. Thunder beast will also do a free replication cerakote/deep clean every year which is cool.

I also own several other cans from griffin and feel like their GP cans are quite good for the money especially if you can leverage their first responder/mil/le program. The GP 7 is a little loader than an ultra 7 but not by much and I was able to have it shipped to my door for less than MSRP with the stamp.

Nomad Ti XC in jail. Direct thread. So we'll see.
Good choice, if you decide you want to save weight, you can replace the end cap with one from rearden or another similar company and save an ounce or so. The rearden end cap also seems a bit shorter than the factory one.

You guys are using suppressors that cost over $600? What's it like to be rich!?! 😆 🤣

I'm happy with my SilencerCo Omega 300 DTM and my AB A10 on everything from a 223 to a 300WM so far. Next will be an OCL POLO 30 that can handle a 12.5" 308 Winchester sized case. I've been looking hard at a AR10 pistol and that should work on the 12.5" barrel on the 308 and on an 11" 223 Wylde barrel on my AR-15 pistol.

Tough to beat that Nomad XC, OP. Zero chance you'll be disappointed with it. I have 6 suppressors and the XC is by far my favorite.
I can’t seem to find any complaints about it either. It’s a very solid choice. I’ve been sort of tempted to get the longer version of it as well. Since I swapped my end cap, I already have a dead air direct thread end cap so I could pull off whatever they sell that one with and be ready to rock.

I have the AB A10

How does it compare to that Omega 300 DTM? I was going to pick up another AB, but saw that omega and made me curious

I cannot find a polo 30. I wanted one before I got the AB.

Good to know. DA is also offering $300 hush money promo until October 31st. So as soon as it comes in, I can get some items off the site, 556 end cap, end cap tool, wrap if I want. I have to spend the whole $300 in 1 purchase. If I dont, I forfeit the rest. So ill have to look the site over and see what they have.

After all that talk yesterday, I was still as you contemplating the L ti xc. Got to the store and had him pull both out, again. Then decided on the standard ti xc.

I've put a 1/2-28 DT end cap on my A10 and only use it on my stuff with 1/2-28 threads. My Omega 300 has the 5/8-24 end cap and goes on my bigger stuff. The muzzle brake end cap on the Omega seems to keep the recoil on my 7 PRC and 300WM at a soft push. My wife liked it well enough she bought her own.
