I have a titanium suppressor with the traditional 1.375x24 hub mount. What are your thoughts of using an adapter that is steel or aluminum?

Most of the dead air mounts are steel and go to titanium cans so I don’t think it’s a problem. But wonder if anyone has thoughts or experiences?

I have mixed and matched metal types all the time with no problems. Wondered the same though the first time I did it. For example, OCL steel direct thread hub adapter on Scythe Ti, Energetic Armament titanium thread adapter on an OCL Polo K, steel Griffin taper lock muzzle devices on OCL Hydrogen L.

I'm also OCD about checking the can is screwed on the muzzle hand tight at least a few times during every range session, but haven't noticed but maybe one time out of hundreds where my impulsive checking actually found a loose connection. If it were going to come loose my thought is it's either in the first few shots or after the first time the temperature cycles from hot can to cold can, so that's usually when I reach up there and check real quick. Better safe than baffle struck as the sayin goes...
