How much does your suppressed bolt action hunting rifle weigh all up? The one that you actually tote around all over?

-Bighorn Origin
-WTO SwithLug
-APA RTG bottom metal
-TriggerTech Special
-Proof 22" 8 twist barrel (6.5x47 Lapua)
-McMillan Game Hunter Edge
-Hawkins LR Hybrid Rings
-VX-5HD 3-15x44mm
-Dead Air Nomad 30

Current configuration 9lbs 3oz as it sits.

Looks like a great build. I'd move that bipod forward if possible.

Nice LW builds here.. my rifle is a porker. I'm afraid to weigh it. I'll probably chop the barrel to 16", that'll help shave off some ounces (and velocity).

Tikka T3x .280 Rem
24” Proof Sendero lite
Talley rings and Leupold VX5 3-15x44
AG privateer stock
Timney 2 stage trigger

Weighs 8lbs 12oz with Silencerco Harvester or 9lbs 8oz with Surefire .30 cal suppressor.

I find the rifle to handle better and be much more consistent with the Surefire suppressor adding a bit of barrel weight.

Do you have a weight without the suppressor? This is exactly what I’m thinking of building.

Probably my lightest w/can (TBAC 223P2) and scope (Vortex HD LH 3-15x42) ready to shoot is Tikka Compact 204 Ruger and it weighs 8lbs 6.6 oz but that 223P-2 isn't particularly what I'd call a fly weight can at 14.6 ounces.

Except for my 17 Hornet which is right at 9lbs all my other centerfire rifles w/can scope ready to shoot are 10lbs or 10+

10.1lbs with ammo.
Browning X-bolt 25-06
Leupold vx3hd
I could cut a couple ounces by changing scope rings/base (which will happen this spring). But not really needed. Not a great pic of the rifle alone.

I've got a Bergara Ridge in 7mm-08 with Vx-5, that weighs pretty close to the same, including a bipod and ammo. PXL_20211127_172223542.jpg

That is great doing similar with the 5 on a kimber 6.5 and FC .270. Did they put the mount on the barrel for you?
I put the CB mount on myself. The Montana comes threaded from the factory with 7/16 x 28 threads but I had to use kimber's thread adapter to make it 5/8x24 so I could use my tbac CB mount. It was really easy and took 10 minutes.
