It's garbage IME. No great velocities and poor consistency. RL16 or RL26 is your huckleberry. They are the gold standard right now for 130+ bullets.

I got a faster velocity with RL16 than what Barnes had listed for the 127gr. LRX with superformance and superformance was the fastest velocity listed in the Barnes data. That's with a shorter barrel than listed also. It helps I got under half moa with it too.

Haven't used it in the Creed. Fairly unimpressed with it in what I have use it in. Everybody loves H-4350 but I sort'a like RL-16 in the Creed.

Thanks, I saw the Barnes data and that’s what gave me the idea. No reloader 16 or 26 available locally. I’ll have to track some down.

What velocity did you get with the LRX’s? I have a 24” barreled Tikka.

I got an average of 2,883 but that's in a 22" barrel, so you can probably squeeze out more than that. The RL16 is supposed to be very temp stable so that also makes it a better option than superformance.

I was using IMR and H4350 in my 22-250 and couldnt get the groups I wanted. Tried superform with heavy for caliber bullets and its shooting 1/2" groups easily. Have not tried in other calibers.
