Picked up a T3 lite 223 a while back. While I like the gun, I have other 223's that I like better. So let the fun begin.

I prefer barrels to be around 18". I have cut a couple other barrels down with good results so I wacked this one down too. Cut it at a bit of an angle, mainly because if it shoots good. It will break my brothers mind LOL Cut the crown with a die grinder

223 on a long action and still limited by the mags LOL screw that. Went AICS

AICS mags are short too WTF? Opened up the mags as well. Can jam a 75eld into the lands with room to spare now. Had to shave a touch off the front of the mags to get them to feed right

The prick that designed this bottom metal, had no intention of people running 5 round mags. The mag release sucks, its just a spike. So thats next on the list to get hacked on. Looks like there is plenty of material to work with. If not, I have a spool gun

I tossed 26gr of lever into some very mixed and very used up brass. 75gr eld seconds. Its running around 1-1/4" groups right now. With the amount that I cut out of the stock, I wanna bed it. Also some decent brass couldnt hurt lol. Over all, its turning out to be a decent lil truck gun. Might shave a touch off the talleys, scope is a tad high for me.

Anybody ever mess with the ejector spring? This thing throws brass pretty hard, if I get the scope dropped down to where I want it. I have a hunch i'm goona be pinging brass off the turret.

Portaband cut to much outta the bottom metal. So welded it back up a lil. Its not quite what I'm wanting, but its close. Goona have to stare at it for a bit, before I take the time to finish it.

To be continued...lol

**** yeah I love it. You’re saying 26gr of LeverEvolution? I’ve got like 3 lbs of it I wouldn’t mind burning up if it shoots

Yea. Been running that with 75 amax's/elds for a while now. Very happy with that powder. 26gr is getting warm, I wouldnt go much more than that.

Lot of guys running it in the grendel as well

got busy and this thing got put on the backburner.

I used one of the tapered stone style bits on the crown. No real reason other than thats what I used before LOL
I saw the die grinder in the second picture with a regular burr but in it and assumed that’s what you were using. I think you may have been working on the stock in that picture.
I’ll pick up a couple of the stones. Thanks.

I think a regular carbide would be fine. I went a lil deeper on this one as the barrel cut was far from a square cut. The other 2 I have cut, I just hit the crown enough to kinda break that edge.
