Super light functional day pack

I’m looking for something to use as a day pack on longer backpack trips. I’m running a Kifaru bikini frame with a large bag similar to the crater expedition bag And don’t necessarily like that bag for day use. Looking for a light option to carry with me for my bladder, optics and enough food and gear to spend the night away from camp. Interested to see how everyone attacks this scenario!

You could add their guide lit to the empty frame. I used to use their old side zip pocket mounted across the btm and the Gen II meat bag to hold my 90% jacket and meat when I killed.




I use a stone glacier now and had Pods8 make a small custom bag that holds all my kits. Lots of options.

Somebody took a Zpacks Dyneema Airline bag (around $60) and had attachment points added and made a super UL pack set up.
