Sucky Search Engine???

I have tried a variety of settings but the search engine on this site never produces accurate results. If I wanna review responses to my posts by searching my name, only some of the threads I started are found and none of the posts I replied to appear. Is it me or is it a sucky search engine?

I'm on a phone, only Internet connection, and the search feature leaves a lot to be desired.
It may be easier on a laptop but I don't have access to one at the moment. I've tried to search and even asked but nobody has seen fit to reply.
Is there some reason that Shrek doesn't like Kuiu?
