Anyone have recommendations for stuff sacks for food and other gear to keep things organized?

If you have access to a sewing machine or know someone who sews make your own from ripstop nylon. custom sized, waterproof or breathable depending on what you plan to put in it. You can make a bunch of them from $10 worth of ripstop.

I was just looking at the Kifaru UL pullouts. I might have to pull the trigger on those.

I use a mix of pull outs from kifaru and I bought a bunch of stuff sacks from jimmy tarps. Jimmy sold variety packs on eBay a while ago. I think he does business thru his website now. I picked up a dozen pulllouts and a dozen stuff sacks. Mix and match based on the load.

FWIW - I bought some dyneema ones. Cool but half the weight for 3x the price and the weight savings is less than an ounce. I prefer more heavily built compression sacks for clothing and sleeping bags/gear. Sea to summit seems to be working well for me in that role.

I'm cheap, so I use these from Granite Gear that I got on sale.

for those who bought Kifaru pullouts, which size worked best?

I have all the sizes. I use a small for my first aid and fire kit. Medium is my kill kit. Medium for my water kit. Large for possibles. XL for spare cloths, though sometimes I just throw them in my pack loose or in a dry sack. I will use the mega for food, or I just use a game bag for food.

I went with the 4 pack sm-xl !
