Anyone ever see this configuration of teeth on a sheep? When I got it sealed the biologist said he had seen it a few times. The tooth had worn the lower teeth away and made a hole into the bottom jaw. IMG_7678.jpeg

Yes, I've seen it on 3 rams out about 20. The disease has a name, but I can't remember what its called. Its somewhat common, I guess. One of the rams had really long front teeth, as well as missing some molars, and had really long molars on the top/bottom filling in the holes. Sorry no good pics, skulls are long gone.

This one was missing a few molars

The right one had long teeth like yours compared to normal on the left. If I remember right the long teeth were only on one side.

I've heard it referred to as "Lump Jaw". I've seen a few rams with it over the years, didn't seem to matter whether they were young or old.
