Stove in a double wall tent vestibule

Has anyone done this? Does it work? Pros, cons? I'm open to conjecture if you haven't done it but have thoughts on it.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I’ve considered throwing a stove jack into a Alaskan Guide tent in the same fashion. I have a buddy with a similar tent as pictured that installed a stove jack in the same place and had no complaints using it last season.

Awesome! I figured it's a no brainer for drying out gear. I do wonder how the heat would transfer into the main body of the tent. Did he have any concerns about that?

He was using a Nu-way stove since it was eastern Montana in November. The only issue he had was the propane bottle kept freezing up on him.
