I hang mine between the frame and bag. Kurt used to have a video on the website that demonstrated it.

I put mine between the frame and the pack. I like not having to take up space in the pack with the bladder although I don't having any field experience with it yet as I just got the pack. I'm plan on carrying a cup to fill it and just leave it in place because the bag cap is always accessable. I may have to loosen the compression straps a bit when filling. I think on the Schnees website there is a photo of a hydration pack set up this way.

You can buy accessory straps from sea to summit or whoever, 1/2" wide and hang two bladders on the inside of the bag

For my "day hunts", I only need one bladder and wanted to keep it in the pack, so I've attached a webbing to my two tri glides.
That's why I really like this pack, so many ways to get the job done. I just adapt what I need for my specific application at the time.

I have done both ways before, and mostly now carry my MSR 4L Dromlite between the frame and bag. Last year, I must not have had the cap cinched down tight on my Dromlite and had a bit of a water problem in my bag. Since than I always carry it out of bag. I just hook the hook handle holder of the Dromlite onto the frame fabric- same way Kurt shows with a Camelback.

When I did carry in bag, I tied P-cord to the 2 loops that hold the Tri-glides and then hung a small carabiner on that cord.

Here's one way that I've been experimenting with my larger water bladders. I've been dropping them directly into the load shelf and clipping it to the webbing at the the top of the frame or directly to the back of the pack, just depends on high I want it to ride...

Carry mine just like Huntr has his. Works great and if you do get a leak the contents of the pack are not wet. Easy in and out for the refill. I run the sawyer in line filter and all good.

No issues with the bag making the frame bow into your back when you guys are running it between the bag & frame?

I may be doing something wrong, but for me, it's not a "one hand" zipper when closing. I believe it's due partly to the water resistant layer. The location makes them easily accessible though. I personally don't have a hard time opening and closing them. I know this pack is an ultralight design, but I do wish the pockets were a little wider or have an option for wider pockets.

Here's a pic of a full pocket. Keys, wallet, hunting license (in mesh bag), cell phone and GPS.
