Stone glacier spam

I’ve never once signed up for Stone Glacier emails to my account, yet they are sending me emails advertising their wares. Seems suspect to me that they were bought out by a big national brand and now I am getting their junk emails. Anyone else?

I’ve bought several items from stone glacier but haven’t received any emails lately. Maybe a spam claiming to be stone glacier?

I emailed them yesterday and they responded by saying that they’ve taken me off the subscription list but yet today I still receive the emails from their official email. It’s quite annoying, but you could be right.

Somewhere you opted in to receive emails from someone. They were acquired by another company, which means you are now opted in via them. Just add them as spam and move on.

Ha. Not likely, but that belt was definitely in my inbox. They get bought out by Vista Outdoors and then suddenly I am getting their unsolicited emails. Seems pretty direct to me that they are now purchasing contact information. I’ve never bought a single piece of their gear nor will I, and I live within 40 miles of their “headquarters” in Bozeman, Mt. My hunting gear next season will mostly consist of the beaver fur I’ve harvested, not some sold out brand.

Have you signed up for any giveaways lately? Most times the fine print says when you sign up to be entered, you're also signing up to receive emails from the participating companies.

Hunting as an industry, like many other industries, is rife with buying and selling of customer information mailing lists. Somewhere along the way your email got added to list and this'll continue to happen...could have been RMEF, BHA, another vendor. I would be surprised if you weren't getting spam from a heckuva lot more companies than just SG. Unsubscribe or mark as spam and move on. Chasing every single one will drive you nuts.
