Stone Glacier M5 vs Kuiu Chugach Pants

Anybody have first hand experience with either the chugach or M5 in really wet conditions? I’m headed to Alaska for caribou and need something that’ll keep my dry, but able to bust brush and is packable.

M5 are Alaska ready, Kurt designed them originally for Kodiak. Chugach are way lighter, way more packable, but if your busting brush I would definitely go with m5

Kinda yes. Probably most similar to the katana storm shell set IMO.

Chugach is awesome, but it's main feature is packability. If you're busting brush go M5 or even m7 if it's going to be cold in alaska while you're there
