Stone Glacier Krux/Mystery Ranch Hitchhiker Combo

Finally got a decent length trip in this combo... An overnighter to put out game cams in my elk area. My wife and son went with me.

The dry sack holds a 10# 4-man tent, sleeping pad, 6 mountain house meals, and my cooking kit. My sleeping bag is attached below.

Because this was a test run, I had all of my day pack gear in the Hitchhiker plus all 3 of our snacks. Hydration pack fits in a sleeve on the back side of the hitchhiker.

Basically I was carrying my typical 5-day bicycle setup plus about 5# of tent and a lot of extra volume...

I can't think of a better setup right now. Incredibly versatile from day hunting to 5+ days of bivy hunting.

Uh... That should say "5-day bivy" not bicycle!!!

Have you tried the pack directly on the frame? Curious how it would work.

Yep... That's how I day hunt from camp. Fits completely tight to the frame.
