Review about complete there were some questions comparing other brands...here are some photos of kuiu and sitka hoody’s next to stone glacier....I wear a large in all 3 brands the kuiu is the snuggest of the 3. I’m 5 7 for reference 160...7DB155B8-0506-46B3-AB1F-5034D4A0F891.jpeg87BA4453-1F04-412D-B4E7-302BC9AB0908.jpeg14035D68-D2EE-44A2-8EB1-F235186C8E22.jpegFF0E3C3C-3943-478B-B6FD-17870CFF60D1.jpegAFF73673-55CC-4FD9-86D9-1DF8F370A136.jpeg86966A24-5790-4914-8464-66979F1BBB98.jpeg

hows the warmth compare to say a Sitka grid fleece? I know it seems thinner than the Sitka heavy weight but maybe since its not grid fleece it holds heat better.

The material wicks sweat very well and then will air dry very quickly...additionally the full zip will let you dump heat until you simply need to remove until slowing down or not over heated

Thanks for posting this review. I’m guessing the Kuiu hoodie is the peloton 200 (someone correct me if I’m wrong). You said the Kuiu is warmer so does that mean the stone glacier is thinner like maybe a 150 weight or maybe even 100? Thanks again!

I called Stone Glacier and they said the Hilos top and bottom are 212g/M2.

just got my size Large helio hoody and its a bit snug. I am normally a size Large 5'-9", 180lbs with size 42 chest. I had to go XL in KUIU's hoody and I just ordered an XL in the SG Helio. I kept the size L and will compare and send back whick ever one doesn't fit as good.

XL Helio arrived yesterday and it fits me much better so i'm sending the L back. The XL just was more comfortable and allowed me to use a long sleeve base layer under helio much easier. the Large did fit but was more form fitting than I like. Large would be perfect if you only used it as your first layer.
