If in your report or in this thread could you give your thoughts on what you felt the main differences are between these two packs and the Eberly or BL (I believe you use the J104, not sure about the 4500)?

Great review. Really helps a guy make an informed decision. Hopefully feed back like this is not ignored by Stone Glacier. Would love to see a Stone Glacier Version 2.0 with a better hip belt.
Your experiences with the Stone Glacier pretty well mirror mine. I've worn out my share of packs with work and play, and I don't see too many obvious weak points with this one. I really like the seams are doubled stitched and "finished" nicely on the inside, which helps to eliminate an issue I've seen with threads getting cut and stitching coming loose on other packs.
