Any reviews from folks that are actually running these? For folks that have them, do you consider it a useful upgrade or just money spent replacing tikka stuff that worked out fine to begin with?

Haven’t shot mine yet so haven’t had a chance to verify accuracy/recoil. But it is very light. Overall quality is ok. It has some scuff marks etc in the clear coat from the factory and they forgot to include a recoil lug (still waiting on them to send it). When adding a picatinny rail up front I discovered the front sling stud sits too deep for a standard rail screw to catch it. The action sits very tight in the stock. Mine also took some work (shims under the bottom metal) to get it to properly feed from certain mags.

Have you checked out the VG2 thread on here?

The next gen carbon vg2 and m50 are an awesome upgrade from a factory tikka stock.

Very stiff, nice shape and great fit and finish.

Got one on my savage ultralight and one on my weatherby vanguard (howa 1500).

I’ve got experience shooting tikkas with oem stocks, manner carbon fiber, bell and Carlson etc
