Stock wheels?

Aftermarket. For the truck they were wider and had a higher weight rating than the stockers. More stable with the camper on. For the car lighter, less rolling resistance, faster down the track. Also needed them on the car to go up a size and fit bigger brakes. The wifes car are stockers, no reason to change them.

Whenever I need new tires I just look on Craigslist & buy someone's factory takeoffs. It's usually cheaper to get wheels & tires that it is to just get the new tires. Then I'll sell mine & get a little extra cash

When it comes to a jeep I don't like any of the stock wheels so I got aftermarkets

Stock wheels for my GMC as I like the looks of them. 4Runner has stock wheels and Facebook/Craigslist has my replacements waiting for me with tires already to go..... I thought about aftermarket steel wheels for my 4 runner but will have to wait for funding.

I haven't done aftermarket wheels, but I am noticing one positive. I upgrade tires like most and that comes with weight and lower gas mileage which equals less range. I'm finding aftermarkets can weigh less for the same or better strength at less weight. The net weight is around same but better tires and same-ish mileage.
Or you spend your money on a 58 gallon gas tank to replace the factory tank instead of new wheels..then you don't have to worry about range. I can get over 800 miles to a tank on the interstate not towing.

I just leveled my truck (lifted strut kit) and got new tires. Ended up sticking with the stock wheels. 285/60/20 fit darn near perfectly.

That is way too much digital stuff for me on that dash. I wish they’d still make trucks without all the tech.

If my truck didn’t have factory rims that looked like these I’d go aftermarket, but 2005 to 2009 f350 18” rims look good to me. When a second set came up for $100 I grabbed them as well. 8 rims with centers for under $300 is hard to beat.

Mine is 4 years old...it still has a real speedo and tach...new ones its is just a big screen. Had a '25 loaner when they were replacing my tranny. Makes my '21 look old school.

My wife’s 2025 actually fights the wheel with me. No joke if you even come close to the white or yellow center line it tries to wrestle you for control to move the vehicle back to the center of the lane. Sometimes it startles ya like a huge wind gust hit the vehicle or something. It’s that noticeable when it decides your driving like crap.

I swear it’s TRYING to get me in a wreck so it can have my wife. The robots are winning.

Does it recognize stop signs?
