What do you prefer and why?
I am torn as I have both
Kydex = weather-resistant, but have to drill holes

stock pack = can keep spare ammo, nice and soft :) But it will get wet eventually in bad weather.

Have you looked at the Bradley Cheek Riser? Worked well for me on a CA Ridgeline. Adjustable Kydex and no need to drill holes.

I have seen those! although I already have a drillable kydex one. I guess the real debate is how nice is it to keep extra ammo attached to your rifle

Triad stock pack. They are nice. You probably aren’t shooting in bad weather that much. If you are, get in touch with Joe Ducos, stock doc!

I have a Triad that I like. I keep a bore snake, extra rounds, small lens cloth, and my drop and wind data in the pocket. You can order them in several different designs. I like shell loops inside the pouch.

I built my own out of poly foam sheets with adhesive backs and then wrapped it up with sports wrap. Total cost of $7.

I have a Triad on most all my rifles, and if you hunt in Oregon you are going to get rained on:) I've never really noticed them getting soaked or anything so I'm not sure it would be a big issue??

If it’s Tupperware I’ll drill. If it’s not I’ll choose stock pack, or have a clamp bar adjustable cheek piece installed.

I like the feel of the triad, I have small cheek pads made by WieBad on a few of my adjustable cheek pieces

If you want kydex that’s low profile check out Mathews fabrication with flat hardware. If ever I hunt with another Tupperware stock it will get one of them immediately.
