This was my fathers rifle he gave me a few years back that I absolutely love, unfortunately it's a left handed rifle and can't make it my own. I'm no longer hunting on a lease so really no need for a classic sweet shooter to sit. He gave me his blessings to sell it and get my first M4 of my dream to make mine. This has less then 30 rounds down her and is near perfect. There is a small scuff on the checkering which is shown in picture, and small cracks on the plastic trigger guard most likely from age. Does not effect it at all. It's a 20" barrel and Walnut stock.
It's listed on GB for a collector to grab as the left hand models are extremely hard to come by in this shape. Past sellers got over $2200 for these Austrian smoke poles. If your a LH gun collector this is for you.

Asking $2000

Will post pics after work

IMG_3426.jpgIMG_3428.jpgIMG_3433.jpgIMG_3435.jpgFew more...Trying to enlarge, but electronically challenged. Pm me your number or email and I'll gladly share them that way. Also answer any questions.

I also will throw in the custom leather sling from Andys leather, 3 boxes assorted 270 ammo including Hornedy superformance and 2 boxes Remington core-lokt (which she likes the best), vortex diamondback I bought new for beginning season. It's really the wrong scope but worked fine For what I needed. It's also like new. Also the rifle case, a set of 270 snap caps, and a cleaning rod. If you happen to live in Austin Tx or close even better. Please PM for any questions about the rifle. No trades at this time and shipping will be discussed.

As far as I know everything is completely original on the rifle. There is a recoil pad on it and stock was never touched. I can take pictures of recoil pad or anything thing else.

Those not familiar with this rifle I'll post some #'s for you. It's not designed for a long distance shooting scenario, with its 20" barrel and fairly short stock hence the "mountain rifle" name given to it. It's perfect for taking big animals from heavy wooded locations with its quick ease and shorter length. Yes, she can easily shoot 300 yards no problem, but pretty sure the design was made for tight quarters. Here are some specs.

Steyr Mannlicher classic model M “Mountain Rifle” Full Stock with less then 30 rounds down the barrel. Magazine capacity is 4 with a Double Set trigger Refiling Twist: 8.6" Stock: European Walnut Hammer forged barre: High luster blued steel Overall length is 41.73” with a 20” barrel. 7.4lbs Bavarian-styled cheek piece, Rubber Plate Butt, Set or Direct Trigger.Sights included There is a little piece of the checkering that is barely chipped which I have a picture of and the plastic trigger guard has a couple fine cracks through but does not effect it one bit. Otherwise it is beautiful and will be hard to find one in such great condition

$1650 Just found a Noveske 300 blackout I NEED! This price is $150 dollars more when my father bought it over 25 years ago. Great deal on a great rifle for a wrong handed Hunter|Collector...
