Anybody use these and willing to share feedback? They look relatively low drop but not zero. Would like to hear more about toe box width, how waterproof they might be, and durability. Thanks.

Stegers are very popular up here. Their sizing is way small. I order at least two sizes larger so I can heavy socks and I insert felt insoles. The lower foot will be waterproof. If going out in severe cold, we go to Bunny Boots.

Don't have the Camucks, but have had a pair of the Mukluks for close to a decade and am very happy with them for cold weather wear. In my opinion my mukluks are zero drop, but I've never actually measured them to confirm. The toe box on mine are very roomy.
As far as durability, I have no complaints, but then I only use them in cold, snow covered environments...traditional style snow shoeing, riding the tractor moving snow, sitting in a deer blind. In my opinion the sole would not stand up to use on rough, rocky terrain unless it was mostly snow covered. Even then, I don't think the sole is made for that kind of terrain.
As @VernAK stated, the sizing is unique to Steger, and you want to be sure to get them sized properly in order to keep your feet warm in single digit to sub zero temps.

Very comfy and super light weight for an extreme winter boot.
I love mine. They're my go to for when it gets real cold. I buy them much larger than my regular shoe size as well. I can really layer up the socks and are warmer than my Bata bunnies. Just get increasingly larger socks for each layer so they aren't tight and slowing circulation.

The lowers are coated and fairly water proof but the seams between the lower and upper aren't sealed so you can just stand in the water all day and have dry feet. I've been in overflow more than I'd like to be with them and they kept my feet dry so far. If I was stuck in over flow for a while I'm sure they would get wet. I keep extra liners and socks in the trap box just in case.

I run a pretty long trap line in the foothills of the Brooks Range and wear them almost daily for four plus months a year and they're holding up well.

I have had a pair of Steger Camuks for 10 years. They are zero drop due to the simplistic design, however you can just call Steger and ask if the sole has changed in that regard. The sole is basically just natural rubber molded/shaped to have thickness and tread. Since the whole lower is natural rubber, I have heard you want to be careful at gas stations not to step in fuel because the rubber could be sensitive to it.
They are very light and comfortable but not necessarily with the stability of a stiffer soled pac boot.
I've worn mine ice fishing and in the woods. You have to be careful around prickers not to poke holes in them. Ice fishing you will be warm but not enough "structure" to them for microspikes when you want them on glare ice.

My foot measures to 8.5 E on a brannock device and normally wear 9 wide. I bought multiple sizes and landed on the 10 double wide.
I bought these because I needed a wide toe box and a warm boot for ice fishing. I have a terrible time with footwear needing a wide toe box and the Camuks are great for that. My cheap Sorels were size 11 because the toe box was so narrow. To give you an idea, I have Altra level width across the toes.

I appreciate the feedback fellas. Not looking for something that will handle steep and rocky. I’ve been living down in the desert SW for about 3 decades, but am about to move up north again later this year. Figuring that my Vivo Forest ESC, might need a back up in the winter. Generally expecting to need something for prairie blizzards, late bird hunting and big game hunting, clearing snow, etc. Due to a nerve injury, I can’t wear stiff boots with a lot of structure anymore. These seem like they might work out for me.
