State by State Pref/Bonus Point Breakdown

Does anyone have a state by state breakdown on when to apply/buy pref and/or bonus points? I've missed out on a couple states because of timing. I'm just in "build points" mode. Thanks!

there is a lot of info in that simple question and the best way to get all the answers is to spend money, subscribe to eastmans mags with MRS, buy their yearly MRS book, join gohunt or other companies that are similar... Few people will be able to jump on a forum and describe it all and few people will dedicate the amount of time involved to do it. some states have pref some have bonus some are random, some states have different deadlines for different species, some states require you to pay for a tag up front then they refund if you don't draw.

There is no simple answer in this situation

Every western state has a game dept. Every game dept provides an app booklet or regs on their web site.

If you just want to look at a screen and see all of them, id go to toprut or gohunt.
