WTS Stainless Proof Research pre-fit 7mm-08 barrel

I am going to a different cartridge for my Bighorn SR3 so I am going to sell my pre-fit barrel. It has had 64 rounds through the barrel. Please see attached pictures for more details. I will be taking it into my gunsmith soon to have barrel removed. Need $500 shipped.

Got the barrel removed and ready for the next owner. I looked it over closely and found a couple very minor scuffs. Tried to show one in the attached picture. Don’t know if it will even show in the picture.

Weight and thread information might be useful. Bighorn actions use Savage thread pitch, correct? Or is it a Remington pitch. Since it's shouldered I'm guessing Remington.

If the barrel for sale is the one pictured I would say it’s not Remington. There’s no bolt nose recess as you’d see in a Remington. Proof does shouldered barrels for Bighorn actions, they are made with enough precision to headspace. I believe they are 1-1/6-20 like SS Savage. I know my BH Origin is. I am unfamiliar with the contour, looks sporter-ish. Nice looking rig.

I forgot they did shouldered barrels for Bighorn actions. That makes sense.

The barrel is what they called a midweight sporter. The thread is the same as what the savage barrels use. It is not the same as the Remington.
