Staccato C2 dou

I was looking at purchasing one of these Staccato C2 Duo and was curious if anybody had one and could give me their insight. I’m concerned that on multiple used ones I’ve seen they seem to scrape the finish off very easily specifically around the tactical flashlight? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

The vast majority of my use has been on P Duos, and those have largely worked without problems.

I’m not sure what you mean by “scrape the finish off the tactical flashlight”, but the current Stacatto P and C’2 have much improved build quality over legacy STI’s. When used with the newest Gen 2 mags, past issues seem to be mostly... in the past.

Sorry let me try to be more clear on multiple used staccatos that I’ve seen if the person that owned it has put a tactical flashlight on it or has used it in a holster quite often it seems like the black finish has rubbed off or no longer looks like new.

Finish wear should be expected with guns if they are used. I haven’t seen any undue wear as DLC is one of the most wear resistant coatings until you get to nitride.

OK perfect thanks for the feedback. Yes I carry multiple different weapons but the ones that I’ve looked at from staccato have had some interesting wear for such a short period of time.
