Staball Match, or Varget for .308?

What are your thoughts on these powders for .308. I know that Varget is the standby, and you can hardly go wrong. I have been using CFE 223 for the past batch, but have found it is very temperature sensitive. I have no experience with Staball powders, but hear they are the new hotness.

My 308 likes Varget, IMR 4895, and TAC, Tac may be the best powder for 308.

I’ve used TAC, Varget and H4895. TAC was too temp sensitive for my liking, but fast. Varget can be great but can get to a compressed state easily depending on bullet. H4895 is a great choice if your barrel likes it.

Another one besides the powders previously mentioned is 4064. 42.2 under a 175gr. always delivered. Reasonably insensitive.

Having great accuracy with VV N150. Will be testing this coming weekend somewhat for temp sensitivity.

5 shot group at 600. Varget and 168 SMK.

I have used varget from 130's to 168's. TAC is also good in 308's.

Varget is the best I have used for165-180 gr pills.

I've used StaBall Match with good results. Loaded Hornady 178gr ELDX and found a load my Springfield Waypoint like. It does seem a little more dirty than Varget.
