Any info on these? Looking for the weight and pros / cons? Have a OGL showing up this week and a Reaper coming who
knows when.
Rank amateur at posting and not sure how to tag SRS?

Following. I have a RecoilX on top of a Nomad Ti that I really like. Plan on picking up a OGL and want to run a brake in it.
The RecoilX completely changes the recoil impulse (much better) and I am sold on the concept.

Could just ask them, I’d bet they’d say.
For $99 that’s pretty sweet. Maybe they should make them for other cans as well…
I have a recoil x and it really helped with spotting shots

We currently don't have a self timing version of the brake, so it ships with shims to time the entire can.

It reduces the recoil nicely and makes it more manageable to shoot. I like the brakes on cans, especially for comp shooting.

The brake makes the can louder, and its redirecting some sound to the sides vs straight out.

They weigh 2 oz.

For hunting I would still be running a brake on the can.

Any chance you’ll be making them for other cans? I have a diligent defense that would love one.

Ditto. Even though I have the recoil X already on my enticer the Flats on the SRS with shims is appealing.
The recoil X with the self timing nut is sometimes difficult to get right and oriented correctly without over rotating it.
Of course this wouldn’t be an issue if I just left it on the rifle but I’d say there’s a market for these brakes

Check out RecoilX, they've have got the supressor brake figured out pretty well. Been using a few since spring on competition rifles. They offer many thread options.

Color me impressed. Recoil reduction felt significant. I won't hazard a guess as to how much, but spotting shots was easier for sure. Sound was more than tolerable for a few short strings. I'm curious to see if it's more effective on an OGL than the Reaper I have.

Not at the moment. And with me breaking my leg October 1st on my elk hunt I won't be doing any videos for a bit.

You just install the brake on the can, and we recommend using some rocksett.

Then use the shims supplied to go over the barrel threads and adjust the position that the can bottoms out on when tight. That's all. Use thicker / thinner shims and you can use multiples until its flat when tight.
