Great upgrade to the Omega 300 vs the Anchor Brake for $99.

2.0 oz vs the Anchor Brake at 1.5 oz.
1.05 in vs the Anchor Brake at 1.10 in.

Noticeably better recoil reduction, rifle feels more linear in recoil, and probably the most noticeable difference is the greatly reduced muzzle rise.
(6.5CM, 140 ELDM at 2750, ~20 lb rifle)

The biggest down fall in my opinion to the SRS brake is timing it with the provided peel washers vs Recoilx or SILENCERCO brakes that use the lock ring. However, once its set up and dedicated to a rifle its a non issue and I assume why they can offer it at half to 2/3 the price of other comparable suppressor brakes currently available.

Diameter wise it would appear to be designed more around the Scythe. However, I don't mind the look one bit and I think it really looks good once you throw your cover on.

I'm running the 1.8" brake on the Reaper for my 300 Norma. Still hearing safe even with the brake on it. And its very comfortable to shoot recoil wise sending a 225 at 3050.

Any long term input? Still liking it? I'm really wanting one for NRL comps
Not exactly long term but I have about 350 rounds through it so far (including a local, 1 day PRS match) and I really have no complaints. It’s a noticeable improvement from the anchor brake for spotting impacts. It did start to loosen slightly after a few heat cycles but a few drops of Rokset completely solved that problem.

I think it would be perfect for NRL hunter, no real weight gain not that that really matters now with the rule change giving weight back for running suppressors next year. Also, I have noticed no dust kick up while shooting prone which was a minor concern with the anchor brake.
Not noticeably concussive to bystanders either if you are shooting teams.

You wouldn't get a weight credit if you used a can with the SRS brake because the can would no longer be in factory config.

Unknown Suppressors has the NHS coming which is the best route for competition.

But yes, you're right on that, because it didn't come with the brake as a specific ATF registered model.
