Squirrels are starting to whittle in Missouri!

I took Ole Betsy out yesterday morning and was treated to the sounds of nut hulls falling everywhere! I saw squirrels whittling on acorns, hickory nuts, and walnuts. If you like chasing bushytails, now's the time to measure out your shot and powder. It's about to get exciting!

I live right on the Ark/MO state line. Squirrels are in the hickory nuts here. Our season opened May 15th thru February 28th. A 12 Squirrel limit per day.
