1095 Esee 4 result at about 2m05s

psf27 results at the end

This is probably the best apples to apples since the geometry is all equal. If you'll notice in the psf27 test above, it bested xhp, but in the mule test it was the opposite. I do have the smaller version of the bradley bowie, the junction, and it does great in the field.

How do you compare that to an Esee 4?

Can’t quite make myself pull the trigger, but appreciate the knife deal!

I’ve wanted a proficient for a loooong time, just not sure what for....

I know! I strongly dislike stainless knife steels though and when I walked into golden to buy an s110v Para3, Candi talked me into walking out with Maxamet and Rex45. That psf27 steel is the real deal for a field processing knife. My junction stays well past functionally sharp for a whole animal, and a strip on each side with a small steel has it shaving again. If I wasn't flush with knives and anticipating the seconds sale for more mules, I'd have that Bradley. His folders in M4 are what got me back to Spyderco.

Can’t bring myself to buy a mass produced knife in Taiwan for $200. Too many custom knives at that price point.
