I just heard about this. All of the quartz used in semiconductor production is mined from North Carolina. The entire area was almost wiped out. The rail system is gone. I'm really curious what they are going to do about this. This will cripple the entire industry. We have a long wait for anything quartz in general. I can't imagine what it will be like in a few months.
