I have been wanting a 6 creed and have been holding out for a Tikka but that doesn’t seem likely. I don’t have great interest in spinning my own up with a barrel vise and all that.

I just found a used Springfield 2020 for $999 and I am awful tempted. Outside of paid gun writers I haven’t seen a whole lot of reviews on this gun. Yes I have used the search function on this site.

Any reason I should go a different direction or anything that’s a major cause for concern? My guns are tools and get used as such so reliability and repeatability is of utmost importance.

As always, I appreciate the feedback from the members here!

I don't have on myself, but I have been to the range with a buddy who has one. Shot it a few times and I was happy with it. I cannot say it was anything special over my CZ or Bergara rifles, but it was nice.

My buddy's is a 6 Creed, it shot under MOA out to 300 yards. So his was accurate with Berger ammo. Most rifles are... So I think it wouldn't be a bad rifle and for that price, you should be good to go.

I have one in 6.5 PRC and I love it. It is a little picky on ammo. It shoots Norma and Hornady factory ammo well under 1 MOA. Other factory loads are anywhere from 1-4 MOA. It is relatively light weight and the stock fits me well.

I bought one last year. Mine is a 6 Creed with a 20 inch carbon barrel and adjustable cheek piece. It's one of the best shooting guns I've ever owned. Factory Berger and Hornady both shoot half inch groups at 100 yards all day long. I've stretched it out to 1000 yards and it is really impressive. My good friend has the same gun with the same results.
