So I picked this up just before the holidays when Florida Gun Exchange was closing out the "vault" examples. I couldn't resist trying one.

Mine is a 20" steel fluted barrel in 308. I had a Leupold VX-5 3-15 waiting to be mounted so this was a perfect excuse to use it. I mounted it in Burris XTR signature rings.

Weather has been miserable here lately but yesterday I decided enough was enough and headed out to the range with some factory options to see how it would do. I was quite happy with 3 of them.

Overall the gun has a very high quality feel to it. The AG composite stock is a great shape and feels great and coming with a trigger tech straight from Springfield is a nice perk. Only complaint so far is there was a few hitches in the feeding but that was already seeming to smooth out in the short time I was at the range, I'm thinking it's probably the cerakote wearing in.

All in all I'm a fan and wish I would have bought a couple.

I got Boundry in 7mm prc. Very impressed with the fit and feel of the rifle. I really like the idea of where they mounted the sling mounts. It tucks the rifle around the shoulder more and locks it in. Looking forward to elk season this year.👍

This week I was able to get back a 202 Waypoint in 300 PRC that I regretted trading off in the first place. Just in time for an upcoming Wyoming spring bear hunt. Woot!
Now to get it zero'd and dig out my old hand loads from the back of the ammo freezer.
